I love designing logos but it can take a lot of effort to come up with a solid one. You need to strike the right balance between simple and unique without it looking too cliché.
Here are a few of my creations:
I designed this logo for my babysitting website, kidsit.comThis logo was designed for a book that I wrote and published in 2001. It's a simple black and white design.A logo concept for a commercial real estate website, this was never used.A deejay event logo that I designed for some of my friends. It was used for a few music gigs on posters and marketing material.Gapmaker was the brand for my architecture website, I've since moved all my content to this website, see my architecture section if you're interested. This logo and color scheme was designed for a commerical real estate and analytics company.Another logo concept for a commercial real estate website, never used. This concept was for a new art tutorial blog I was planning. I've since decided to keep all my art-related content here on matthewjamestaylor.com in my art section.I designed this logo for my brother who used it as part of his PhD on the role of domestic rainwater tanks in water resource conservation
“I've been creating art all my life and running this website since 1997! During this time I've found many amazing tools and services that I cannot live without.” — Matthew James Taylor
