I drew the same pose 3 times and experimented with different media each time. This is one of the best ways to see the qualities of each medium side by side. I much prefer the pencil version on the right, probably because it is much more detailed. Pencil is a much more accuracy medium than chalk or charcoal. I'm a perfectionist at heart so detail wins in my book any day!
